South Australian Suffragettes

In collaboration with South Australian Parliament and Department for Education and Child Development, the South Australian Suffragettes website, an online inquiry-based resource was developed. Intended for Years 6 and 9 students, it facilitates the Australian Curriculum: Civics and Citizenship, English, Geography and History. Students learn about the valuable contribution that the South Australian Suffragettes movement made to equality and human rights; and the effect individuals can have when acting together for a common goal.

The concept provides students with the ability to explore a collection of rich historical content through images, documents, objects and other media. Through this process students are required to analyse the materials and answer inquiry questions.
